The five SRA AI credential badges, from Foundation to Innovator, arranged as a staircase

Learn, apply and build with artificial intelligence

Professionals, teams and institutions · Certified pathway

A structured pathway with five levels and twelve sector specializations. Each step ends in a verifiable credential and leads to the next one, so what you learn becomes evidence of what you can do.

One common base, five levels

AI Essentials is the entry point: you don't need a technical background. From there, every level adds depth and ends in its own credential.

  1. AI Essentials

Foundation · 16 h. Understand how AI works and use it with judgment, responsibly.

  2. AI Practitioner

Associate · 20 h. Move from occasional use to repeatable professional integration.

  3. AI Builder

Professional · 24 h. Build applied solutions end to end, without requiring a software engineering background.

  4. AI Developer

Advanced · 32 h. Software and AI engineering: code, APIs, data and services in production.

  5. AI Innovator

Expert · 40 h. Advanced architecture, experimentation and emerging technology.

The 132 hours are the complete core pathway up to AI Innovator. Most specializations start from a shared 36-hour base, so you do not need to complete everything.

Twelve specializations for your sector

Each specialization has its own entry requirements and credential. Groups help you navigate; they are not levels.

Business and leadership

AI for Business Operations, Executives, Entrepreneurs, Marketing & Sales, and Finance & Business Administration.

Engineering and intelligent systems

Credentials you can verify

The ecosystem has 46 credential types: level credentials, skill badges, specializations and teaching distinctions. They are issued under the SRA Global Standard for AI Education & Professional Competencies (SRA-GS 1201-AI, version 1.1).

  • Evidence-based. Every competency is shown through applied work and an assessment.
  • Stackable. Credentials accumulate and recognize prior learning.
  • Publicly verifiable. A verification page confirms each credential.

Who it is for

Professionals

Apply AI in your daily work and prove it with a credential recognized beyond one employer.

Companies and teams

Upskill by role, with a shared language, clear levels and measurable results.

Educators and institutions

Bring a structured AI curriculum with progression, assessment and certification to your institution.

A catalog describes the design of the ecosystem; it does not equal an available offer. Confirm cohorts and modalities before enrolling. SRA Competency Credits (SRA-CC) are internal progression units and are not equivalent to university or government academic credit unless a formal agreement exists.
